Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is transforming education delivery methods worldwide. In India, institutions have adopted diverse remote or hybrid models, and the National Education Policy 2020 emphasizes the adoption of technology as an enabler for education. However, access to quality content and technology is inequitable, and many stakeholders lack experience in implementing effective ICT measures. Consequently, an ICT framework for India’s remote and hybrid education must be economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable and consider life-cycle perspectives (Bajpai et al., 2019).
