Abstract

Modern retail payment ecosystems have undergone a fundamental restructuring due to the quick convergence of financial technology and electronic commerce. With Buy-Now-Pay-Later options, customers can postpone payments for a predetermined amount of time or split the total purchase amounts into interest-free installments without having to go through the strict, drawn-out credit evaluations associated with traditional financial institutions. The objectives of the study include examine the perceived usefulness and adoption factors of Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) services at online checkout points. assess how easy single-click checkout affects consumers' propensity for impulsive purchases and examine the connection between BNPL users' post-purchase customer satisfaction and transactional convenience. Primary data was gathered from a structured sample of 150 BNPL consumers using convenience sampling. Data analysis was executed using descriptive statistics, Pearson’s Correlation, and Chi-Square test. There is no statistically significant linear relationship between transactional convenience and customer satisfaction after a purchase. While quick checkout and few payment steps reduce operational friction at the point of sale, more general post-checkout factors like product performance, delivery fulfillment, and clear billing determine overall satisfaction. The ease of single-click checkout and impulsive spending are significantly correlated.
